Forfeits
Forfeits
If your team cannot field enough players for a scheduled game, a forfeit must be submitted as early as possible. Please read the information below before submitting the form.
Submit as early as possible. Forfeits given with less than 24 hours notice incur a fine from PLHBA. The later you leave it, the higher the fine.
Try a fill-in first. Before forfeiting, check if a registered CCBC player is available to fill in. You only need 4 players to start a game. Visit the Fill-In Players page for the full process.
Who Submits & How
Team Manager Responsibility
Forfeits must be submitted by the team manager. Players and parents should notify their manager as early as possible so the forfeit can be submitted in time.
Submit Online
Forfeits are submitted through the CCBC online form. The link is at the bottom of this page. Have all your game and team details ready before you start.
Forfeit Fines
PLHBA issues fines based on how much notice is given. The earlier you submit, the less it costs. All fines are the responsibility of the team, not CCBC.
| Notice Given | Fine |
|---|---|
| More than 24 hours notice | No fine |
| Less than 24 hours, more than 12 hours notice | $25 |
| Less than 12 hours, more than 4 hours notice | $50 |
| No notice given | $100 |
| Illegal player | $25 |
CCBC will not pay a team's fine. Any fine issued by PLHBA is the responsibility of the team. Please submit your forfeit as early as possible to avoid unnecessary costs.
