New players who did not play in a Clare/Cott team in 2025 can join the waitlist on December 1, 2025, however, places are extremely limited. The Hawks Winter competition is at capacity, so CCBC cannot form new teams in U12's, 14's, 16's and 18's. We may have some ability to add new players to existing teams if current players do not return in 2026.

The shortage of basketball courts is beyond the control of the club. If you feel strongly we suggest you write to your local member of parliament.

Vacancies in teams are filled with suitable players from the list once the registration period for returning players has closed.

Payment is not required for the waitlist. If you have been successful you will be notified by mid to late February, 2026, when all existing players have registered.

Note: players must be under the age of the age group as of 30th June in the playing year; eg to play U10s, you must turn 10 after 30/6/26.

The waitlist for all age groups, from Under 8 Miniball to Under 18 will be compiled by Hawks for 2026. CCBC will not be compiling a separate waitlist.

Refunds

Once registered and paid, refunds will not be given without a medical certificate. Please ensure your child is committed to play basketball, as refunds cannot be given for a change of mind or clash with other commitments.
